THE NEW YORK SCHOOL FOR PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY AND PSYCHOANALYSIS now in its fourth decade takes a dynamic approach to the understanding of emotional problems and strives for excellence in teaching clinical service to the community and professional development.
NYSPP has an absolute charter from the Board of Regents of the State of New York to provide educational training, and offers a comprehensive three year training program leading to a Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. A subsequent two year training program leads to a Certificate in Psychoanalysis – a course of study unique in its recognition that those who have a solid foundation in psychoanalytic psychotherapy have a strong background to become psychoanalysts.
