Author/Illustrator Terry Marks-Tarlow, PhD, has been a clinical psychologist for over 30 years, and maintains a private practice in Santa Monica, California. A passionate artist, Terry has illustrated many of her own books. Terry has been practicing and teaching yoga and mindfulness for decades, and during psychotherapy, she taps into the embodied wisdom available from art, yoga and dance.
