Memories of a Chaotic World: Growing up as the daughter of Annie Reich and Wilhelm Reich by Lore Reich Rubin

First and foremost: Lore Reich Rubin, “the other daughter,” has remained in the shadow of her father, her mother and her sister Eva. Yet, she has to tell highly interesting and very touching stories. Lore is presently 93 years old—high time for her to share the history of her life, so we can experience it with her.

Reich Rubin’s book is a very personal and authentic account of her life as Wilhelm Reich’s daughter, adding a new perspective to his personality. May this perspective not serve to cast a shadow on his achievements, his great mind and his efficacy. I am very pleased that Lore Reich Rubin’s memoires are now available in book-form and that we were able to contribute to the translation of a German edition.
